The F1 in HD - good or bad news?



Yesterday, the FOM and some TV channels (including BBC) gave the green light for the retransmission of F1 Grand Prix in HD. Technically, 42Mo data per second and a resolution of 1080i are the promises of the FOM. Clearly, the image quality unbeatable. Yet once, the F1 shows how it sticks to new technological innovations, and far beyond the automotive technology alone.

question is whether all countries broadcasting the F1 will benefit their viewers the latest technologies. Even so, the important thing in all this is to see the Grand Prix.
