Force India confirms Sutil and di Resta
Each year, there are worst-kept secret than others. Force India was one of those. The Indian team has confirmed his trio for the upcoming season, namely Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta as holders, together with Nico Hulkenberg in reserve driver.
No mention was made about Liuzzi, so we are not able to tell if an amicable agreement was reached, or if the case is judicial extension. In both cases, the team of Vijay Mallya seems to have chosen an option that could be paid in the end, both on track financially. It is rumored that the engagement of di Resta is accompanied by a free supply of Mercedes Kers, coined to 6 million, while the supply motor is already costing 12 million to her own.
Liuzzi did not have much to blame, however, given the season he has done. Some breaks have been due to its dynamics. But reducing di Resta at an economical option would be simplistic. The boy went to school with flying colors in the forms of promotions, including beating Vettel in F3 Euro Series, before returning to the DTM. Four seasons with the support of DTM Mercedes before winning the title in 2010. The main question will be how the Scots will come out in the peloton after four years of battle in tourism. Nevertheless, the boy is talented, no doubt. Will this be enough there to worry Sutil who is, yet again, retained despite its attempts to start the summer?
Hulkenberg his side will have to settle for third role before expect better in 2012. Too bad, that boy is too talented, and deserved better. But when one remembers the name of his manager, Willi Weber, this can be cons-productive at times. Obviously, Anthony Davidson, the manager of di Resta, was more clever.
Overall a very interesting trio at Force India, as the pilots of the potential. It could even be likened to a casting for Mercedes, the day Schumacher take his true reverence. Sutil has a vested interest not to stagnate as it has shown a few times in 2010. Everything is just beginning, strongly back!
