Rumor Infiniti

all started Friday morning, a press release from the agency PRISM, stating quite plainly: "Major luxury automotive brand Enters F1 With world championship winning team. "

This was followed by the traditional time of questioning. And looking for advertised items, namely a major luxury car brand and a world champion team. Some spoke of a deal with Williams One of the luxury brands of the VAG group, such as Porsche, however, it seems early, and 2013 is a date most likely. Ditto for the rumors of a deal Red Bull VAG. Assumptions Ferrari, Mercedes and McLaren also appear to be very unlikely, if at all. Regarding Lotus Renault GP, interest does not exist, the announcement has already been made.

So what think? Will it be a marketing partnership, a technique, or a mixture of both? The engine is rebadging it also questions? Jean-Louis

Moncet that are not used too often as absolute source for our information, is one who speaks more for the moment. He said there will be an announcement at the Geneva announcing a partnership between Red Bull and Infiniti. Rumors from hasty and shortcuts, the question of rebadging rapidly developed. This does not seem to be the case either. Carlos Ghosn knows the importance of promoting the name globally via Renault F1 engines and rename this year would be somewhat understandable, only a few months after increasing significantly the presence of diamond in Austria.

The deal seems to affect more than just the immediate presence of Infiniti's Red Bull Renault for next season. The goal is to use as often as the F1 promotional vehicle, the Infiniti range is tempting to deploy in Europe. So maybe in years to come, a rebadging will take place at around 2013 but there is nothing to affirm today. So this is a sponsorship in the image at Lotus Lada Renault GP. The rebadging

could occur in the future if management believes that both Renault Lotus sufficient to Renault to promote its communication to highlight the third team with a brand of range of a real sport. Which may far exceed the frameworks in communication campaigns ordinary fans who remain positioned on "Infiniti is a Renault badge," while the typical person will hear of this trademark without effort, in advertising, newspapers, etc..

All this remains subject to confirmation, which should happen pretty quickly now. But it is regrettable that any rebadging is not one of the Lotus, to avoid some confusion.
